Among the evaluations, the US American airline won as best service provider in the 2019 quality ranking
The US American air company Delta Air Lines won first place in the worldwide latest Airline Quality Rating (AQR). This is an annual study developed by researchers at Wichita State University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University that evaluates airlines based on some important criteria for passenger well-being and corporate performance.
This research considers aspects like luggage loss, consumer complaints, punctuality and involuntarily refused shipments.
The director, Gil West, commented about the company’s achievement: “Today’s recognition is truly special for Delta, as it reflects the efforts of over 80,000 employees, who serve and care for our customers.”
This first place prize just adds up to several recent success episodes, including the top spot on the list of best and worst airlines in the United States in 2019. They also won most punctual airline in the world, by The Points Guy, and best airline in the United States, according to the Wall Street Journal.
